Hurricane Katrina was a level 5 hurricane in 2005. Hurricane Katrina traveled from the Bahamas, across the southern tip of Florida and over the Gulf of Louisiana before turning northward and heading up through the tip of Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky before finally trickling down in Ohio. It may have hit more then those places, but those are the main places it hit and went through. Hurricane Katrina destroyed many homes and took many lives away from loved ones. It was a tragic storm and the afterwards clean-up was very difficult for everyone involved because almost all homes if not all were ruined. Flooding was the main problem from losses of people and homes.
